Mrs Elizabeth Ann Bundy
BUNDY.--Elizabeth Ann Bundy was born December 10th, 1867, and died at her
home, near Clio, S. C., December 31st, 1904. She was happily married to Mr.
D. F. Bundy June 18th, 1896. Of this union four children were born, two of
which preceded her to the Glory Land. Sister Bundy was converted when quite
young, and united with the Methodist Church, of which she remained a
consistent member until her death.
When the summons came she was ready. She told her husband she regretted to
leave him and the children, but if it was the will of the Lord for her to die
she was ready to go. Death had no terror for her. She fell sweetly "asleep
in Jesus," and passed to her eternal reward. She was a devoted wife and
loving mother. She leaves a husband, two children, an aged father and many
relatives and friends who hope to meet her in heaven. In the presence of a
large congregation we laid her body to rest in Haskew Cemetery, near Clio, S.
