My Great-Grandmother:

Fannie Ammons Driggers

Mrs. Fannie Ammons Driggers, 63, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Crowley on Broad Street Wednesday afternoon, 5 o'clock, following an illness of a heart ailment. Funeral servies were conducted from McLucas cemetery Friday morning, 10 o'clock. Rev. Langley, pastor of the Clio Baptist church of which the deceased was a member, officating.

She was the daughter of the late Allen and Frances Jackson Ammons of this county and spent her entire life here. She was a good woman, reared a large family and was respected and loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by several sons and daughter.
