Death of Mr J A Herring
Special to the State.

Clio---Nov 2---Mr J A Herring, an honored and well respected citizen of our town, passed away Monday morning about 8:30 o’clock after a short illness of several weeks. He was a victim of Bright’s Disease.

Mr Herring has for a long time been suffering and went several weeks ago to a hospital at Battle Creek, Mich. Not being benefited there, he went to John’s Hopkins hospital where he remained awhile without benefit; so was brought home on Saturday night last. He was buried with Masonic honors at Askew Cemetery Tuesday afternoon.

Mr Herring leaves a wife, a mother, and several brothers, besides a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
