Death of Mr Swett

Sunday evening Mr W S Swett, a citizen of Marlboro county, son of Rev W N Swett, died near here, the cause of death being typhoid fever.

Mr Swett was 32 years of age. He was unmarried and besides his father, leaves a brother, Mr W N Swett of Bennettsville; six sisters, Mrs M E Coward, Cheraw; Mrs E W Pointer, Monroe; Mrs S J Huffman of this place; Mrs T B Huffman of Columbia; Mrs S S Wells, Tuscombia, Ala; and Mrs W L Pearson, Howkinsville, Ga.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev Mr Inabinet at Lebanon M E Church, interment in churchyard. A large crowd was in attendance to pay their last tribute to the dead body.
