WILL OF SHADRACK FULLER In the name of God Amen. The third day of march One Thousand Seven Hundred & Ninety Eight. I Shadrack Fuller of Marlboro County in the state of South Carolina, being very sick and weak in body but in perfect mind and memory. Thanks be given unto God, Therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament. That is to say, principally and first of all , I give and recommend my soul unto the almighty god that give it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent christian burial at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the funeral ressurection I shall recieve the same again by the mighty power of god and as touching such worldly estate where- with it hath pleased god to bless me in this life, I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form. First I give and devise to Lucy my dearly beloved wife the Plantation and land whereon I now live during the state of her widowhood with all the stock of cattle hof & four head of horses and all my household furniture during the state of her widowhood. Secondly I give and devise to my will beloved son Simon Fuller half of a tract of land containg fifty acres joining of land of James Bolton which I bought off Jesse Baggett the S. half which I now give away to be laid off on the lower side of S. tract next to the three creeks also one bay horse colt. Thirdly if it should happen so that the state of my wife's widowhood should cease by marrige then and in that case my will and meaning is that the land whereof she is now processed revert to my three sons Johnathan, Samuel & Shadrack Fuller to be equally divided among them and in case she continues widowhood the term of her natural life then after her decease the land be divided as before mentioned, Fourthly I give and bequeath to my seven children namely; Johnathan, Samuel,Shadrack, Mary, Sarah, Lucy and Amelia Fuller after the state of my wife's widowhood shall cease by marrige or otherwise all my personal Estate to be equally divided among them after my just debts are paid. Lastly I constitute make ans ordain Lucy my dearly beloved wife Excutrix and my trustly friend James Bolton Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, And I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disanull and every other former Testament, Wills, Legacies and Bequests and Executors by me in any ways before named, Willed and Bequested, Rectifying and confimring this and no other to be my last will and testament............................
