The State of South Carolina
In the name of God Amen, I Sarah Quick widow of Solomon Quick deceased of South Carolina Marlborough District being very weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God, calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and Testament; that is to say, principally and first of all, I give and recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it -- And my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the discretion of my Executors Nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God. And as touching such worldly estate where with it has pleased God to bless me in this life I give, devise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form.
Item. First, I give and bequeath to my son Wesley Quick one dollar after my death.
Item. Second, I give and bequeath to my Son Aaron Quick one dollar after my death.
Item. Third, I give and bequeath to my Son Moses Quick one dollar after my death.
Item. Fourth, I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Perkins one dollar after my death.
Item. Fifth, I give and to Jane Roler my dearly beloved granddaughter, when she marries or becomes of age, one Bed and Bedstead and clothing for the same, and one speckle butt headed cow and increase after my death.
Also I give to my Son Anderson Quick whom I likewise ordain the sole Executor of this my last will And Testament -- The tract of land I now live upon containing Fifty acres more or less, lying in the State and District aforesaid, bounded on the East by Wesley Quick's line and on the North by Aaron

Quick - and on the West by Moses Quick- and on the South by Beaver dam Creek, and the balance of my household and Kitchen furniture and whatever money may be in hand after paying the other heirs their part by him freely to be possessed and enjoyed- And I do utterly revoke and disannul all and every other former Testaments, wills, and legacies by me in any wise before named-Willed and bequeathed-ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Sixth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four.
