John S. Young to Ezekial McGill
State
of South of South Carolina.
Know
all men by these presents that I, John S. Young of the State aforesaid and
District of Pendleton in consideration for the sum of Two Hundred Dollars
have bargained sold and released unto Ezekiel McGill of the same State and
District all that tract or parcel of land containing One Hundred and Thirty
and a Half Acres lying on the waters of little Generostee said District the
bounders of which contains are represented by a plat annexed drawn by John
McPhearson D. S. dated the 12th of January One Thousand Eight Hundred and
Twenty Four it being part of a tract of land original granted to John S.
Young and certified the 24th of August 1799 together with all and singular
the premises rights numbers hereditments appurtenances there unto belonging
or in anywise incident to have and to hold the said premisessy unto the said
Ezekiel McGill his heirs and assigns forever I bind myself my heirs
executors administers and assigns to warrant and forever defend the above
mentioned premises unto the said Ezekiel McGill his heirs executors
administers or assigns against myself my heirs the land or any part thereof
in witness where I have here unto set my hand and seal this Seventeenth day
of January One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty Four and in the Forty Eight
and Month of the Independence of the United States of America.

At
the request of John S. Young I have resurveyed off unto Ezekiel McGill a
tract or parcel of land containing One Hundred and Thirty One & half
acres and being part of a tract of land surveyed for John S. Young the 16th
of April 1799 granted to the same this 2nd Dec. 1799 situate in said
district waters of Little Generostee that such and makes at the above plat
represent. Resurveyed this 12th January 1824.

Mcpearson personally appeared before me and made oath that he did see John
S. Young sign as his act and did deliver the written conveyance for the use
and purpose therein mentioned and that Samuel C. McGee was with himself a
subscribing witness to the same sworn described to this 28th day of July
1824.
