Widow Williams. Winton Co. Minutes of Co. Court (Holcomb reprint) p9. 28 April 1787, #22, The Court hath taken it into consideration that the Road which was granted by ordr. of Court from Perkins Bluff to widow Well's foard (sic), be altered and that said Road be carried the nearest and best way from Thos. Burton's ferry on Savannah River to Sd. Widow Williams ford on Big Saltketcher. Capt. Wm. Weekly is appointed Overseer of said Road in place of Capt. Richard Creech, Junr. who has moved out of the settlement.

third line from top, next to last word), for 74 4s 4p mortgage all my cattle
marked with a swallow fork in one ear & a pes--- crop & half crop
in the other & branded Wes? & all my stock of hogs with the above
mark, & my white flee bitten mare with her 2 year old filly, one tract
of land containing 234a, & all my house hold furniture, together with
all my property to Richard Creech, 25 Nov. 1789.

John Williams born <1766 d1802, signed by mark. One of three appraisers of estate of Martin Kimberhide, "as shown to them by Arthur Jenkins," 10 Oct. 1787. The other two appraisers were John Craddock & William Weekly. (ibid p66)2 Feb.. 1789. James Kirkland, Michl. Swicord, John Williams, Moses Plummer not appearing to serve on the Petit Jury and were on hearing their excuses their Fines remitted. (Winton Will Book 1 page illegible) Barnwell Will: To my dearly beloved wife Nancy WIlliams all my stock of horses, cattle, & hogs, & 100a land where I now live during her life. To Jenny Williams, my beloved daughter, 100a land joining the big cypress, to David Williams, my beloved son 100a lying on west side of S. tract that I now live. Mary WIlliams my beloved daughter, 100a lying through the middle of said tract that I now live on to join her mother's part & Davids. One equal division of $116 that John Jackson now owes me divided between Nancy WIlliams, Jenny Williams, David Williams, & Mary Williams, & also at the death of Nancy Williams, my wife, all that part bequeathed to her is to be divided between the above named children. I appoint Thomas Riley & Ashford Jenkins as Executors. 2 Dec. 1802 John his/mark Williams. Witnesses: Jose. Freeman Williams d1812 estate probated by James Harley 14/2/1812 Barnwell Probate Package 6 Case 18, discharged 1/6/1824. James Harly, administrator, 25 Feb.. 1812 petitions to sell the estate "which consistes principally of stock (livestock -FOC) are requires some attention, more than I as administrator & is somewhat in debt can do, & there being but one heir & "it" is quite young." An inventory was done 27 March 1812 totaled to $52, appraised by Daniel Philpot, Francis Fickling, Jnr., G.H. Dunbar, Samuel Dunbar. ODAllen notes 25 Feb.. 1824 Cash paid Mr. Benjamin Courtney for nursing, boarding, clothing, & schooling Miss Elizabeth WIlliams, Daughter of the deceased: $500.
