The East Coast Greenway is an ambitious project to build a 2600 mile long paved trail for non-motorized transportation along the east coast of the United States. Altho it presently has many gaps, there are quite a few sections of trail already open along the route from Key West to the Canadian border. A portion of the greenway passes through South Carolina's low country, and several sections are open, mostly in resort and tourist-oriented areas. Parts of the greenway are paved, and are open for walking, bicycling, and roller skating. Other parts are unpaved.
Listed here are some of the places that provide parking and access for the East Coast Greenway: Visit http://coastalgeorgiagreenway.org/ for information about the Coastal Georgia Greenway. [012-08-17]
