A wide variety of activites are available in this National Park and the adjacent State Park along the border between North and South Carolina. Numerous hiking trails will be found in the scenic hilly terrain. You can find an excellent visitors' center with a museum and some paved history trails. A movie playing inside the museum tells the story of the Battle of Kings Mountain, which was an important American victory during the Revolutionary War.
Primitive camping is available at the Garner Creek Backcountry Campsite. Click here for information.
