Located on Lynches River in the Pee Dee region, this recreation area features a river swamp with very large cypress trees as well as sandhills offering a wide variety of vegetation. Popular activities include river fishing, canoeing, hiking, and picnicking. Several trails run through the park. During the summer, the Splash Pad is a great way to cool off. The Canopy Walk allows you to walk among the trees.

How to Get There
Take I-95 to exit #146. Go east on SC #341 (Lynches River Road) for 3.1 kilometers (1.9 miles), where it forks off. At the fork, go left onto Lynches River Road. After 1.0 km. (0.6 mi.), you will reach an intersection at Hobbs Crossroads. Go straight and stay on Lynches River Road, which is now SC #403. Stay on this road for another 10.2 km. (6.3 mi.), then turn left onto Old Number 4 Highway (SC #541). After 1.0 km. (0.6 mi.), the road splits. Stay left on Old Number 4 Highway, and continue for another 11.1 km. (6.9 mi.). Turn left onto County Park Road, which leads into the Lynches River County Park.
