Extracts from Dillon County Newspapers
by Gloria Calhoun Buckle, © 2003

As many of you already know, Mrs. Buckle is the author of several volumes of extracts from Pee Dee area newspapers. Scrolling through reel after reel of microfilm to transcribe all birth, marriage, and death notices is truly a labor of love, and we are most grateful to Mrs. Buckle for permitting the display of her work here. Thank you, Gloria!

Please note that the extracts will be added in installments, so be sure to check back from time to time.
